Bàsquet Girona and Uni have opened a new line of collaboration, taking advantage of the good relationship that the two entities have and that, a few weeks ago, led to the creation of the Academy led by Laia Palau and Pere Puig. So for next season all members of the women’s club will have a 15% discount on the card chaired by Marc Gasol, who will make his debut in the Endesa ACB league 14 years after the disappearance of Akasvayu left the city without basketball elite male. To qualify for the discount, simply fill out a form that has been emailed to Uni subscribers.
Bàsquet Girona opens the season ticket renewal process this afternoon (4pm) (it will be open until Friday evening), and from next Tuesday it will accept new registrations. Right now the expectation is very high and the possibility of doubling the number of cards compared to those that existed this season is very feasible. The club has raised encouraging prices (much cheaper than those in Akasvayu’s final year in the 2007/08 academic year) with the idea of bravely expanding the social mass. It would not be strange for Girona to make its debut in the ACB with almost 3,000 subscribers or even exceeding this figure.
All fans who have been subscribed to the club this season at the LEB Or will be able to process their card for the next year at the ACB online this afternoon, following the instructions they will receive by email. They can also change their location in Fontajau if they wish. Prices range from 120 to 290 euros, with the addition that a 15% discount will also be applied to Uni members. The league will start in principle at the end of September (from 1 to 18 there is Eurobasket) and the draw for the calendar is usually held in late July or early August. At Fontajau’s offices, efforts are now also focused on completing all the necessary documentation to be admitted to the ACB. There is time until mid-July.
L’Uni, a bon rhythm
The campaign to attract subscribers to the Spar Girona, which had renewed half a thousand in mid-June just ten days after opening the deadline, is also progressing at a good pace. Until August 31 the process will be open only to members who have already been this season and want to renew the card. It will be open to everyone from September 1st. Prices generally range from 80 to 130 euros but there are various discounts and packs.
