With the approach of a season which promises to be difficult in Ligue 1, the SCO will have to recruit in particular in defense. However, while Moroccan defender Achraf Dari was to sign with Angers, a higher offer and an agreement with another club fell in recent hours.

The 2022-2023 season of SCO Angers may be playing out during the transfer window. After one 14e place last season and a 7e consecutive maintenance, many executives have left, especially in defense. This is the case of Romain Thomas, Ismael Traoré, and more recently Vincent Manceau. All were pillars of an Angevin defense that was doing well, and now the SCO will have to deal without them. A difference of €200,000
According to the website, the Breton club would have made an offer of 2.7 million euros, i.e. €200,000 more than the Angers offer (€2.5 million). However, the Moroccan central defender, author of 3 goals in the African Champions League, which he won with Wydad, would prefer to join Angers.
If he wants to see his wish come true, he will have to hope that the SCO outbids. If the Angevin club exceeds 3 million euros in this transaction, and if it succeeds in attracting the defender, it would then become and 4e purchase of the club’s history, behind Sada Thioub (3.5 million), Enzo Crivelli (4 million) and Paul Bernardoni (7 million). However, we are not there yet. One thing is certain, the battle for Achraf Dari between Brest and Angers has only just begun.
