TRIESTE During the weekend the slow approach of Basketball Trieste to the new season began. The shareholders’ meeting held last Friday, if on the one hand it has not yet defined the composition of the share capital (there will be the entry of Settimo and the Edilimpianti group at the same time as the Trieste Association comes out and Monticolo & Foti) on the other hand made the company operational thanks to the sharing of the spending plan proposed by the former president Mario Ghiacci. Trieste, therefore, officially enters the market in an initial phase which is one of listening and deepening.

THE SOCIETYTo The new composition of the share capital has yet to be defined. There was no passage from the notary Giarletta, at the basis of the postponement the desire of some subjects to leave for next season. On Friday the Trieste Association comes into play and Monticolo & Foti, holders of 10 and 7% of the shares respectively, have confirmed that they will no longer be part of the company structure. The Edilimpianti group will take over, once the process is completed it will be necessary to form the board of directors and appoint the new president. That, in any case, Ghiacci will no longer be determined to leave the Board of Directors to cover only an operational role within the company.

THE BUDGET A spending plan reduced by 10% compared to the last championship was presented to the members. Last year they were almost 5 million, the overall ceiling expected for next season is close to 4 and a half million. The knot of the covers remains to be clarified. Considering the 2.5 million already safe and the public share that will derive from the season ticket campaign and other operations that are being defined, Trieste will start with a part of the budget still to be covered. In this sense, as confirmed by the company in the press release last Friday, the entry of the Edilimpianti group will be important, which “is working with commitment and in synergy to support the sponsoring activities currently underway”.

THE TECHNICAL STAFF Marco Legovich will be the new basketball coach of Trieste. A convinced and shared choice, in the coming days the official announcement after the details will be defined with the agent of the Trieste coach. Then it will be the turn of the two assistants who will support Legovich.

THE TEAM Lever, Campogrande and Deangeli, the fixed points, on June 30 the option of one plus one in force with Delia, Konate and Mian expires.
