They point the police with a shotgun, a suspect arrested

An 18-year-old man was arrested overnight from Saturday to Sunday in the sensitive Léo-Lagrange neighborhood in Trappes (Yvelines), after attacking the police. Around 3:30 a.m., a police patrol comes across a man on a scooter who hits their car with a baseball bat, then flees and takes refuge in the city.

The police officers of the anti-crime brigade (BAC) conduct research and hear two detonations. They approach discreetly and see the wanted scooter circulating in the alleys of the city, ridden by two young men. The passenger holds a shotgun, with which he directs the police who try to intercept them.

A shot of LBD

Officials fire their defense ball launcher (LBD) once at the two-wheeler. The two men fall at a slow pace and the passenger manages to escape. The driver is under control. The weapon, loaded with two 12-gauge cartridges, and the scooter were apprehended.

The suspect was taken into police custody in Trappes for attempted homicide on a person holding public authority. His motives are still unknown.
