Tennis: Pedro Cachín fell in the final of the Lyon Challenger

The Argentine Pedro Cachín lost today the final of the Lyon Tennis Challenger, in France, when he fell in the decisive match against the local player Corentin Moutet by 6-4 and 6-4.

Cachín from Cordoba, born in the city of Bell, ranked 142 in the ATP world ranking, lost against Moutet (128), after 1 hour and 31 minutes of play.

The Lyon Tennis Challenger, in France, was held on clay surface courts and distributed a total of 90,280 euros in prize money.

Pedro Cachín prevailed in Madrid, Spain, and Prague, Czech Republic; Santiago Rodríguez Taverna in Tigre, in the province of Buenos Aires; Francisco Cerúndolo in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia; Tomás Martín Etcheverry in Concepción, Chile and Facundo Bagnis in Pereira, Colombia.

Camilo Ugo Carabelli raised the title in the second edition of the Tigre Challenger played at the Club Náutico Hacoaj, and Facundo Díaz Acosta became champion in the one played in Coquimbo, Chile.
