The municipal children’s council (CME) of Lesneven continues its work. The elected officials of the “sports-animation” commission offered a sports afternoon to the students of CM1, CM2 and 6th of Lesneven on Wednesday June 15, 2022 at the hippodrome. “It’s a project that was in the pipeline but that the health crisis had slowed down,” recalls Stéphane Le Vourch, deputy mayor. The objective of this animation was twofold: to spend a convivial moment and to collect money for the association Rêves de clown. Volunteers were present to publicize the association’s missions. “We involve professional clowns with hospitalized children in order to reduce their anxiety and make their stay in the hospital easier,” explains Marie-Thérèse Duquesne, president of the association.
