Presqu’île Aventures is the new manager of the Trez-Bellec nautical center in Telgruc-sur-Mer – Telgruc-sur-Mer

The future of the nautical center located at the end of the beach of Trez-Bellec in Telgruc-sur-Mer has been talking about for a little over a year in the coastal town. The former Telgruc-sur-Mer nautical center association, now Sport mer & nature, is now based on the Trébéron site, overlooking the Aber beach, in Crozon.

And since the Ascension weekend, Presqu’île Aventures has dropped anchor in the premises of the nautical center of Trez-Bellec. Morgan Landier and Mathieu Dufournaud are the new managers of the place, which includes a collective lodging, a stopover lodging, a campsite and nautical activities. The two sports educators know the terrain since they had already worked at the nautical center for fifteen and four years respectively.

Summer camps hosted this summer

The two partners responded in November to a call for tenders launched by the town hall of Telgruc-sur-Mer. And received a response in January. “Everything was done quickly to open before the summer,” underlines Mathieu Dufournaud. They signed a three times three year agreement. “It’s a desire for new adventures”, which guided Morgan Landier and Mathieu Dufournaud. The town hall finances the site and the equipment of the nautical center.

For the summer, the program is very busy. A good dozen summer camps from Finistère will be hosted in Trez-Bellec. The collective lodging, which can accommodate 29 people, is full almost throughout July and August. There are still a few weekdays available.

Activities between land and sea

The novelty ? Morgan Landier and Mathieu Dufournaud offer multi-activity courses of five half-days during the summer period for children and young people, from Telgruc or elsewhere. What to test “the sport in an adventurous way” with kayaking, sand yachting, coastering (walking on the coast with rock jumps), archery or climbing, all depending the weather.

For 12-16 year olds, a catamaran course is offered.

It is also possible to rent equipment on request: catamaran, kayak, paddle, wave-ski. The two educators, who will be supported by four instructors in the summer, can also offer private lessons and supervised practice depending on availability.

A leisure club for young people from September

“From September, we will be offering an offer for local young people, with a leisure club on Wednesdays,” adds Morgan Landier. There is also a project to offer sailing for schools in the area.

Presqu’île Aventures is also for adults. The sports educators of Trez-Bellec want to “develop a product for companies, host cohesion days with à la carte activities or why not a multi-activity raid”.
