In the Golden League volleyball, the Red Dragons lost to Estonia in front of their own audience. In Kortrijk, the visitors did not allow Belgium a set.
For a place in the Final 4, the Red Dragons had to win their group, but that hope may have been lost after the defeats in the Czech Republic and Estonia.
A few days after the loss in Tartu, the Belgium were allowed to try again on Sunday in front of their own audience against Estonia, but again the Dragons were a size too small.
Estonia won with convincing numbers (17-25, 22-25 and 21-25) which means that Belgium is no longer eligible for the Final 4. Next week the Dragons can try to brighten up their campaign with a home game against the Czech Republic and a relocation to Latvia.
