Arrival of the fifth: 11 – 6 – 15 – 12 – 2

Tradition obliges, the tropical evening once again brought together many people in the bays of Vincennes. Overseas music and dances were on the program throughout the evening during which Flash Gordon (No. 11) won in the quinté test. The pupil of Maxime Bézier opens his prize list in this category for his seventh attempt thanks to the drive inspired by David Thomin. The Norman driver was forgotten in the second part of the peloton and took the right wheels to come and dictate his law in the final phase. “He knows how to go fast to finish,” says the winning driver on the winners’ podium. It’s especially nice to run in front of full stands. We feel the fervor of the public. “For his trainer Maxime Bézier, this is his second straight victory while David Thomain totals 73.

Propelled to the command of the event by Jean-Michel Bazire halfway through, Falco Berry (n° 6) is getting talked about again and grabs a promising second place. The favourite, Faredgio Minuet (n° 12) fails at the foot of the podium but behaves well after bringing the future winner back on the climb. First du Bois (n° 2) completes the good combination of the quinté.
