Neiland ranks 16th in the second leg of the Swiss Tour de Suisse

38 seconds later, a large group finished in front of Alberto Betiol of Italy (“EF Education-EasyPost”) and the podium was closed by Michel Matthew of Australia (“BikeExchange – Jayco”). The group was also led by Neiland, who won the highest place among the “Israel – Premier Tech” cyclists.

There is no change in the first three of the tour and the cyclists take the same places as at the finish of the first stage. The leader is British cyclist Stephen Williams (“Bahrain – Victorious”), four minutes behind German Maximilian Shahman (“BORA – Hansgrohe”) and six years behind Danish Andreas Kron (“Lotto Soudal”). Neiland is in position 92 with a 12-minute and 22-second deficit.

The eight-day race will end on Sunday.

The Swiss tour, which is taking place for the 85th time in history, is one of the last competitions in which cyclists take part before the prestigious Tour de France. Last year, the Tour de Suisse was won by Ecuadorian Richard Carapass.
