NBA market, LaVine and Beal in the sights of the Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers are currently a rapidly rebuilding franchise, having let go of CJ McCollum and named Joe Cronin as their new General Manager. However, the reconstruction will have to be swift, aimed at maximizing the possibilities for Damian Lillard to lead the franchise to the second NBA title.

There are many names that have been around in recent weeks around the Blazers, with players who could arrive both through trade and through free agency, such as DeAndre Ayton and OG Anunoby.

The latest report that comes from Kevin O’Connor in The Ringer, states that the franchise is active on two superstars en route to their own teams, that is Zach LaVine e Bradley Beal.

According to my sources, Bradley Beal and Zach LaVine are potential targets for the Blazers. Lillard is close friends with Beal after his experience with Team USA and the Wizards star has a player option for next season, so he could come through both trade and free agency

Both Beal and LaVine have some defensive problems similar to those suffered by the McCollum-Lillard duo, but both would undeniably make Portland a team with unlimited attacking arsenal.

The chances of either star joining Lillard are high, but if the Blazers were to manage to sign both and form a new Big 3 they would immediately become a contender for the NBA title.
