France will be the scene of major sporting events in the coming months or years, such as the Rugby World Cup in 2023 or, of course, the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024. All of this is creating a particular excitement around the sport. And to maintain this excitement, the City of Suresnes and its associations are offering a whole festive weekend to celebrate sporting activities in all their diversity.
This sports festival will take place on the weekend of June 25 and 26. Everything will start on the evening of Saturday, June 25, with an outdoor cinema session from 10 p.m. The film in question will be The Most Beautiful Fight by Boaz Yakin, with Denzel Washington, and which tells of the arrival of black students in a high school in Virginia, and in particular in the American football team. This film, inspired by real events, deals with respect within the sports world. It was a big hit when it was released in theaters in 2000.
Sunday, June 26 will be devoted to a series of sports demonstrations to present various activities such as football, archery, dancing, climbing, athletics and many others. These various demonstrations, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., will be provided by the associations of the town of Suresnes. Perhaps they will inspire vocations among the spectators?
