In May, Coriance organized a contest on the Instagram social network with a meeting with its ambassador, Olympic judo medalist Amandine Buchard.
Melany, winner of the game, witnessed the victory of Amandine and her Paris Saint-Germain Judo team on Saturday May 28 during the French championships.
Student in the last year of osteopathy and passionate about judo since her childhood, Melany trains at the club of Istres. Black belt in the category – 52 kg, the same as Amandine, she was departmental champion in 2015 and participated in the French championships in 2016.
« This day will forever remain in my memory. Amandine is really a pleasant person, she has a sense of sharing and is very perfectionist, it was a wonderful meeting » souligne Melany.
Melany attended the impressive victory of Amandine Buchard! Thanks to a de-ashi-barai (advanced foot sweep) performed in less than eight seconds, Amandine won the final against Léonie Gonzalez (ESBM Judo), winner of the Women’s Continental Open in Warsaw in February 2022.
The women’s and men’s teams of the Paris Saint-Germain Judo club won these French team judo championships. This is a historic double, as only three teams over the past 25 years have achieved this feat (US Orléans, Levallois SC and Etoile Sportive de Blanc-Mesnil Judo).
Melany will keep the memory of a day full of emotion and a nice photo alongside her champion!
