The outdoor archery competition, selective for the French championship, organized this Sunday at the Lucien Desprats stadium by the Première Compagnie d’Arc de Cahors brought together around sixty archers from Occitanie.
Sixty-two archers representing nine clubs from Occitanie took part this Sunday at the Lucien Desprats stadium in the outdoor competition organized by the club of the Première Compagnie d’Arc de Cahors. This event, selective for the French championship, was open to the categories chicks to seniors 3. The targets were placed between twenty and seventy meters, depending on the category, each archer performing, twice, six ends of six arrows (four minutes maximum per round). For this competition, which took place in the rain, different types of bow were represented: recurve bow, compound bow and bare bow. “It was the fourth big meeting organized by the club this season after the two field shooting events in October and May, and the indoor event in January, specifies Annie Pages. It allowed some archers to obtain a third score in order to be selected for the French championships and others to improve on previous scores. Everyone enjoyed getting together for this competition.
Twenty-one archers from the Première Compagnie d’Arc de Cahors were in the running this Sunday. They obtained the following results:

Note that Denis Nivart is selected for the French outdoor shooting championships in 50m compound bow blazon of 80 reduced to 5 zones which will take place in July in Riom, then for the French championships field shooting in August at Monestier de Clermont.
