The Fjelsted team, represented by Andrzej Lebedev, met with the Vikings speedboats in Esbjerg. After the first six races, the Vikings were in the lead with 28: 8 and the fate of the match was practically decided. Andrzej also didn’t start the match successfully (one point in two races), but then he won four of the five races, was second again and accumulated 15 points. Frederick Jakobsen added 12 points, but his two performances were not enough to make the chase a success.
The Grindsted team, represented by Franz Gusta, met with Holsted Tigers, the current title holder. After the first three races the result was 9: 9, moreover 5 points were brought to the guests by Gusts (second and first place), but then the “tigers” won four races in a row and in three of them with 5: 1 – after 7 races the result was 28: For the benefit of 14 housewives. It was not possible to threaten the home victory for the guests. Gust and Kenneth Bjerre scored 10 points for the guests. The first match in the Holsted team after the heavy fall was won by the three-time world champion Nicky Pedersen and scored 11 points in four races. Gustav met him on the first ride, but the Dane, being the leader, resigned due to a motorcycle defect. Gustav finished second.
