Judokas from Quintana Roo stand out in Conade 2022 National Games

CANCÚN, QRoo, June 17, 2022.- The Judo delegation from Quintana Roo swept the first day of competitions at the National Games of the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports (Conade) that take place in Hermosillo, Sonora.

Caribbean judokas won five medals, two gold and three bronze, in the competition that brings together the best athletes in Mexico.

The young Ariadna Chávez conquered the podium in the women’s -58 kilogram division, while in the men’s division, Máximo Vázquez won the gold medal in the -64 kilogram division.

The bronze medals went to Naomi Dubai Cardona Salazar in the -44 kilograms, Dulce Ixchel Pech Hernández in the -48 kilograms and Crisaliz Monserrat Godínez García in the -53 kilograms.

This Friday the National Games continue and the judokas in the Sub-18 category will participate, while on Saturday the Sub-20 category will compete.
