Less than a year after their Olympic team gold medal, Laura Collett and London 52 entered the hall of fame couples to have won several 5* by winning the mythical Badminton competition. Present at Millstreet earlier this month, where she won the CCI 4*-L with Dacapo and the CCI 3*-L on Outback, the thirty-two-year-old rider looked back on her incredible victory in Badminton and discussed Brexit, safety in eventing, social networks or even the queen’s jubilee.
A month after your victory in Badminton, how do you feel? I have always dreamed of winning Badminton and a gold medal at the Olympic Games (ninth in the individual with London 52, she participated in the Olympic gold won by the Great Britain in Tokyo last summer, editor’s note), but I never thought this dream would come true.
