Sunday 29 May 2022 at the Foschino gym in Telese Terme the 1st judo and culture tournament “organized by the ASD Olimpic Center Judo Telese Terme with the participation of the ASD Gymnastics and Martial Arts Torre del Greco, ASD Rio Angri-Sant ‘Egidio del Monte Albino, ASD P.elle Aversa, ASD Accademia Giovani Talenti Lusicano, ASD Judo Boy Energy San Gennaro Vesuviano and ASD Olimpica Brusciano.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Telese Terme Giovanni Caporaso and the President of Ansmes di Benevento Antonio Ricciardi.
Under the guidance of the teachers Salvatore Di Paola, Sandro Piccirillo, Domenico Salernitano, Alessio Giordano and Ferdinando Prisco, over 140 children gave life to various exhibitions of physical activity with gymnastic courses that alternated running, jumps, overturning and gymnastics with numerous obstacles to overcome. .
The older ones aged 10 to 12 simulated judo fights without determining any ranking of merit but only by way of exhibition.
Particular attention was paid to some children with disabilities who were included in the various groups and welcomed with the enthusiasm that only children can transmit.
At the end of the event, awards for everyone and a great party in an atmosphere of joy to meet and leave again after the dark and difficult period of the pandemic.
Appointment for all young athletes to resume activities in September.
