The Councilor for Sports of the Astillero City Council, Alejandro Hoz, has inaugurated the I Stage of Astillero Judo, which is being held from yesterday until next Sunday in the Ángel Fernández pavilion of the municipality. The meeting is organized by the Alberto Coterillo and Judo Club Muñiz clubs.
During the presentation, Hoz was accompanied by the president and the secretary of the Cantabrian Judo Federation, who did not want to miss this appointment at the Shipyard. This first stage will serve athletes mainly to improve technical issues. In addition, this Sunday, June 26, from 10:30 a.m. a competition will be held among the participants that will serve as an exhibition and closing of the meeting.
“The club, with Toñin at the helm, is being a model for all regional and national judo,” said Hoz, who also recalled that they are the club with the most national medals in the entire region and their athletes are respected wherever they go. they compete.
