On Monday (local time) the team from Massachusetts achieved a clear 102:82 (57:33) home win. The Celtics set the course for victory early on. The series is now 2-2. In Miami on Wednesday (local time), the fifth of a maximum of seven games in the fight for entry into the NBA finals is on.

The hosts opened the game with a 26:4 run, after the first quarter the Celtics were in the lead with a difference of 18 points. Jayson Tatum was in a particularly good mood: Boston’s top scorer scored 24 of his 31 points in the first half and was able to meet the expectations placed on him for the first time in this series. After the break, the Celtics extended their lead to up to 32 points at times.

Now we are also ready for game five.

“We’ve gotten over the snag from our previous defeat. We were determined to play better again because we knew how important it was for us to win this game. Now we’re ready for game five,” announced Tatum .

Spoelstra: “They attacked us”

In rows in Boston, Daniel Theis scored four points from the bench in nine minutes and got three rebounds. Curious: In the Heat, the five players in the starting lineup totaled only 18 points. This is the lowest number of points from a top five in playoff history since the 1970-71 NBA began tracking ranks.

Accordingly disappointed, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra summarized the game: “They attacked us. More than anything else, however, our offensive weakness at the beginning damaged us. We didn’t play purposefully enough.”
