Already at the sport and leisure party, which was held today, June 19, from 10 to 17 at the sports field of Grezzana, families were able to collect the voucher recently approved by the Municipality to support the registration costs for sports activities and recreational activities that will be carried out by children and young people aged between 5 and 17 years.
The voucher is reserved for residents, is bearer and will be valid until June 30, 2023. Furthermore, it will be possible to collect it on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until July 15, from 9 to 12, at the entrance to the town hall.
Valpantena Volley, Valart, Gaiga Ciclismo and Asgdc, Real Grezzana Lugo, Polisportiva Lugo, Marble Heads, Majorettes Grezzana Group, Judo, Grizzly Lessinia Basketball, Tennis and Cea Grezzana.
In recent years, the Municipality of Grezzana allocated a support of 35 euros to the associations for each member under the age of 18 to supplement the membership fee paid by the parents. This year, wanting to broaden the audience and include all post-school activities, the administration has decided to allocate the voucher directly to families.
“For this operation, 70 thousand euros have been allocated to the budget, a sum well above what was recognized in previous years, a sign of the importance we want to give to the help of young people and families,” said Deputy Mayor Federica Maria Veronesi, delegated to childhood and youth. “The sports associations have been contacted and met several times to define the operating methods for using the new voucher and we have found a great collaboration from all of them, for this we thank them very much”, concluded the director with responsibility for sport Andrea Iseppi .
