The Navarre school year ends with sports. The ‘Navarriadi’ are scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday: moments of physical activity dedicated to the students of the institute who aim to promote correct lifestyles. “With this initiative – specifies Massimiliano Urbinati, head of the Vergani-Navarra school – we want to broaden the traditional concept of school, and at the same time we want to reclaim the idea that this institution is the center of an educational pact for the development of the territory”. Thanks to the collaboration with the sports associations Acli San Luca San Giorgio, Cus, San Pio X, Bracco athletica and Ariosto handball (and with the RockaFe staff), tomorrow the spaces of the park of the ‘Navarra’ foundation will be the terrain of individual challenges. Pupils will play the role of athletes in archery, high jump, vortexing, table tennis, soccer, tennis and cross country competitions, in the recovery of traditional games and values such as tug-of-war, running with bags, wheelbarrow racing, bowls, chess. Saturday will be dedicated to team sports, with games of basketball, handball, soccer, football, tennis and volleyball.
