Four athletes with disabilities who honor sport

Do you know “adapted sport”? For our part, we admit that we had missed this expression. This is the practice of sport by people with mental or psychological disabilities. From this Wednesday June 15 and until Sunday June 19, there will be 1,800 of them coming together, accompanied by their coaches, their families, their friends and volunteers in Saint-Gall, for a new edition of the National Summer Games. Fourteen sports are on the program: basketball, boccia, bowling, football, golf, judo, athletics, petanque, cycling, horse riding, swimming, sailing, tennis and table tennis. We met four participants from French-speaking Switzerland before their departure for eastern Switzerland. Four trajectories, four very different spirits, but the same energy and sincerity.
