The SlowPitch European Championship took place from 14 to 18 June at the Dorotea Sofia Sports Center in Colorno. During these days several nations competed and Great Britain took first place followed by Holland. In third place was Germany, in 4th place Ireland and in 5th place tied for Italy and Belgium. The sporting event saw the presence of various executives from the WBSC European federation, various FIBS classifiers, European referees and the WBSC communication manager. Elga Ghilardi. The president of Asd Colorno Baseball attended the opening ceremony: Claudio Tortinithe mayor of Colorno, Christian Stocchi and the assessors Mirka Grassi e Ivano Zambelli. He attended the closing ceremony and the awards ceremony Gabriel Waage, executive of the WBSC. The sporting event was a success and the participation of the territory was good, including the presence of the municipal councilor Maurizio Segnatelli.
