Dimitris Itoudis, the new head coach of Fenerbahçe Beko, came to Istanbul.
The successful coach, with whom a 3-year agreement was reached, also made statements to the club television.
As Itoudis explains:
“I am aware of my expectations and responsibilities when I come here. The first thing we want to do right now is to make our community and fans happy by creating the best possible staff and team atmosphere. I would like to send a big thank you especially to Fenerbahçe fans. I got thousands of messages. I say “thank you” to all of them. We have a lot of work to do. I’ve never been a fan of big words but I understand our fans, they have high expectations. I want them to know that their expectations, hearts and desires; it will become a task for us. It will push us to work harder to meet their demands. I expect them to support us by creating a great atmosphere. We will do everything in our power to make our fans proud, our President Ali Koç, and everyone in the organization who made great sacrifices to build the best team to bring this team back to where it belongs.”
