De Bruyne draws conclusions after last three matches: ‘We won’t be favorites in Qatar’


De Bruyne doesn’t want to put pressure on himself after the Nations League matches: “A lot of things will change between now and the World Cup.”

His instructions for the evening: “Do what you want, Kevin.”

Roberto Martinez did not say it in full, but it was the message he sent to the one who wore the captain’s armband and the responsibility of an attacking system which had failed in Cardiff.

Kevin De Bruyne has once again alternated boredom and genius. The only player truly capable of setting a tempo and finding the free man, he sometimes stalled or dezoned to the extreme, for lack of good balls in his position as number 10. A constraint which once again blushed his face and shot his features.
