French international Grace Zaadi will join Romanian club CSM Bucharest after four months in Metz as a medical joker.

The half-center of the France team Grace Zaadi (28) has signed up with CSM Bucharest, after a four-month freelance spell in Metz, the Romanian club announced on social networks on Sunday, without specifying the duration of the contract. contract.

At CSM Bucharest, Zaadi will find another French international, since the right-back Kalidiatou Niakaté has signed up with the vice-champion of Romania, after eight seasons spent in Brest.

Zaadi and Niakaté will cross paths with Siraba Dembélé, emblematic captain of the France team who retired from international duty in 2021. Dembélé has been living at CSM Bucharest for two seasons and has extended for the 2022/23 season.

Zaadi played for ten seasons, including seven professional ones, in Metz from 2010 to 2020, before heading to Rostov in Russia, on the banks of the Don River and at the mouth of the Sea of ​​Azov.

Following the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian army on February 24, she was released from her contract with Rostov, returning to Moselle until the end of the season, where she won the national title, the Coupe de France and played in the Final 4 of the Champions League (3rd place).

CSM Bucharest, carried by Romanian left-back Cristina Neagu, was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Champions League by the Danes of Esbjerg.
