50 years, nominated by the Central Bohemian Regional Executive Committee of the union
Former defender and son of the former head of ČT sports news, Otakar Černý senior. He has several extra-league starts for Kladno. After finishing his playing career, he was the manager of the Kladno club, youth teams and the Hockey Hall of Fame; he also worked at the Kladno council.
“I’ve come to the right place to go. I’ve been working in hockey for a long time and I believe I have something to offer,” said Černý.
He considers it important that the new head of the association unify Czech hockey. “In order to stop the tussles and often unsubstantiated media shootings about the fact that the mafia and similar shouts are sitting on the union without any evidence. They are then a bad signal for all our supporters,” Černý added.
