Club Brugge will not recruit Casper Nielsen, considered too expensive: “It does not correspond to the reality of the market”

Negotiations between Club Brugge and Casper Nielsen, midfielder of Union Saint-Gilloise, were unsuccessful. Indeed, the Brussels club is asking too high a price for the defending champions.

According to HLN, the Unionists are asking for the sum of six million euros and an additional million in bonuses. For its part, the Venice of the North club only wanted to pay 3.5. “Seven million euros for a 28-year-old midfielder does not correspond to the reality of the market,” said Nielsen, who regrets the amount his club is asking for.

The Union has mandated Mogi Bayat to make the most of his midfielder, author of a full season.

Now that Brugge have declined the Union’s counter-offer, it’s a safe bet that the Dane will head abroad.
