Charleroi: Julien Ngoy successor to Vakoun Bayo?

The transfer of Vakoun Bayo to Watford (Championship) against around 5 million euros excluding bonuses has not yet been officially confirmed, but the management of Charleroi has obviously already considered his possible successor for some time.

Among the tracks followed assiduously, one leads to Julien Ngoy. The contract of the Belgian player (24 years old) is over in Eupen (5 goals, 3 assists in 29 games this season) and he did not wish to extend. Before that, the striker trained at Club Brugge and Anderlecht until he was 16 had played for Stoke City (seven seasons) and Grasshoper Zurich (one season on loan).

According to our information, the Carolo management – who had already probed him during previous transfer windows – would have entered into concrete discussions with the player.

Other clubs are also following Julien Ngoy but the latter, versatile and free since at the end of his contract, would like to stay in Belgium to establish himself there rather than try a new adventure abroad.
