Sparkling this season in Pau, Brandon Jefferson (1.75 m, 30 years old) should leave the club to join China with the Tianjin Pioneers club according to journalist Christos Harpidis.
A regular in the French championship, the American made a name for himself in Orléans with whom he became MVP of Pro B and the architect of the club’s rise to the top flight in 2019. He then continued his adventure in Strasbourg with whom he had a great European epic with the Alsatian club during the 2020-2021 season in BCL. This season with Elan Béarnais, he was the club’s main strike force with 18.2 points (38.6% from three-pointers), 2.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists for 17.6 evaluation and therefore had his best season of his career with a nice peak at 34 points during the match 4 of the Betclic ÉLITE semi-finals against Monaco.
A big loss for Elan Béarnais and Betclic Elite but there was no longer too much doubt in view of his interview, the Chinese championship being renowned for its salary conditions but less for its level or is it simply a championship for the summertime ?
Brandon Jefferson agreed to continue in China with Tianjin Pioneers. He had a great season in #BetclicElite with @EBPLO where he averaged 18.2ppg and 4.5apg. @ bjefferson3 #basketball @LNBofficiel #CBA #BCL #basketballcl #7dayseurocup
