Bayern is still in the running

In the past few days, reports have been circulating that Bayern have fallen behind in the transfer game surrounding Sasa Kalajdzic. The 24-year-old Austrian is on the list of many top clubs, especially in England there are several interested parties. According to current reports, Bayern are still in the running for the ÖFB kicker.

In addition to Sadio Mané, Bayern would like to sign another attacking player in the summer, a classic center forward who could succeed him in the event of Lewandowski’s departure. For a long time, Sasa Kalajdzic was considered Munich’s dream player, but the trail to the Stuttgart player seemed to have cooled off a bit recently.

However, as transfer insider Manuel Veth now reports, the record champion is still involved in poker for the 24-year-old. In the meantime, however, Munich have received strong competition.

England clubs target Kalajdzic

According to Veth, Kalajdzic is still an option for Bayern Munich. Accordingly, there have been very constructive discussions in the past between the player advisor and FCB sports director Hasan Salihamidzic.

But the Munich team shouldn’t take too much time. Even if Borussia Dortmund is an interested party, BVB is about to sign Sebastien Haller, and Manchester United, Chelsea and Leicester City are all three England clubs vying for Kalajdzic.

The Austrian national player is only contractually bound to VfB Stuttgart until 2023. The Swabians would not put any obstacles in Kalajdzic’s way if they received an attractive offer. According to reports, the pain threshold is 20-25 million euros.

According to “SPORT1” information, there should be doubts within FCB as to whether Kalajdzic will be able to follow in Robert Lewandowski’s footsteps right away. According to the TV station, the Munich team is still exploring the transfer market and discussing other storm candidates.
