Manchester United is not letting go of midfielder Frenkie de Jong (25 years old, 32 games and 3 goals in La Liga this season)! While FC Barcelona refused their first offer of 60 million euros plus 10 million euros in bonuses (see here), the Red Devils will submit a new proposal revised upwards. According to The Guardian and journalist Gerard Romero, this time an amount of 70 million euros plus bonuses will be put on the table.
It remains to be seen whether this second offer will be enough to bend the Catalan club, which has set the price of the Dutchman at 85 M€ but which has the need to save money, possibly on the salary of the Oranje.
