The Bages basketball club of Aspres Albères (BBCAA) organized a tournament in tribute to Claude Jaubert, former president of the club who died last year and was much appreciated by club members.
This 3×3 tournament was of a new kind with the primary objective: to be above all a friendly moment. Sixteen intergenerational teams (whose players were aged 7 to 58) competed in a good mood.
This first edition will have brought together more than 130 people. Beyond the tournament and in parallel with it, there were individual games but also team games such as the greatest number of baskets scored, with prizes to be won, including of course those of Château Planères, co-directed by the late Claude Jaubert, who put into play collector bottles bearing the image of the tournament.
