The municipal administration rewards the stars of Rozzo sport. The award ceremony for the athletes of the local sports associations who distinguished themselves in the 2021-22 sports season was held in the council chamber. From gymnastics to volleyball, from tennis to football, and then rugby, dance, fitness, judo and qwan ki do: numerous disciplines represented by the athletes who took part in the event, together with coaches, technicians and exponents of local sports associations. The municipal administration paid tribute to the excellent results obtained by the teams and individual athletes in the various categories by delivering a certificate of recognition. Present at the event the mayor Gianni Ferretti, who also holds the delegation of councilor for Sport, the councilor for education Maira Cacucci and the president of Ama Sport Giuseppe Coniglio. Everyone congratulated the young athletes present for the successes achieved in the competitions that saw them protagonists during the year. “We support the idea of sport as a school of life and community growth. Today we not only reward the competitive one but also the one that looks at the human aspect and the growth of athletes as people – underlined the mayor and councilor for Sport Gianni Ferretti -. We are proud of the results achieved by these athletes, the result of a talent applied with dedication and passion also by coaches and managers of sports associations. Sport can be a vehicle for inclusion, synergy between local realities and a growth tool for the whole community “.
