2 out of 9 in the Nations League. World champion France’s report turns blood red after three match days. After another draw against Austria, the star ensemble of Didier Deschamps dangles in last place in Group 1. Mbappé and co are virtually in the relegation zone.
France’s national team has completely missed its start in the Nations League. It first lost against Denmark and then shared the points with Croatia. On the third day of play, it had to look for a first three-pointer against Austria.
Nevertheless, France sluggishly started the party. To make matters worse, they conceded another goal just before half-time. After a great combination of Austria, Andreas Weimann virtually put France at 1 out of 9 in the Nations League.
