Arnesen due to infection not available

22:17 – Feyenoord has to temporarily look for a new interpretation for the position of technical director. Frank Arnesen is struggling with a bacterial infection in his knee and is therefore unable to attend the club. The news comes at a very unfavorable moment for Feyenoord, where it will have to thoroughly renovate the selection this summer.

Chris Woerts reported that on Tuesday evening Today Inside† He told how Arnesen already suffered from the infection during the final of the Conference League, but was nevertheless present in Tirana. However, it is now clear that the Dane will have to sit at home until September. “He goes to the club every now and then, but he can’t do much. So he must be replaced.’

Woerts himself expects that lawyer Joris van Benthem and general manager Dennis te Kloese will take over his duties together. Arnesen will also be able to handle business from home. “He answers his phone and is texting and calling like crazy. But physically he has nowhere to go. That is difficult in this period.”

Transferzomer
Woerst spoke of a problem for Feyenoord, with a very busy transfer summer ahead. The departure of mercenaries Cyriel Dessers, Guus Til and Reiss Nelson will have to be accommodated, among others, while players such as Marcos Senesi, Tyrell Malacia, Luis Sinisterra and Orkun Kökcü may also leave. The club has to work hard to put down a good selection next season.
