According to Ivan Ljubicic, “a statue is not enough” to honor Rafael Nadal’s career at Roland-Garros

Tennis at Roland is a sport where Rafael Nadal always ends up (or almost) winning, even on one foot and another asleep. Over the titles, all the words have already been used on the often surreal impression given off by the Spanish champion, invincible by overpowering, or impossible to beat even diminished. But this year, without preparation, it was almost illusory to think of a new title. Except for him, of course. He won. A new (enormous) accomplishment, despite a fairly lackluster finish.
