Veteran Pablo Abián, Beatriz Corrales, Luis Enrique Peñalver and Ania Setién will be the four representatives of Spanish badminton at the Mediterranean Games in Oran (Algeria), which will be held from June 25 to July 5.
The player from Aragon and the player from Madrid will defend the gold and silver respectively that they won four years ago in Tarragona, although the former also has the silver achieved in the Turkish Mersin in 2013.
The four selected, who will be accompanied by coach Eduardo Herrero, will play both the individual and doubles competitions with Abián and Peñalver forming a duo, as well as Corrales and Setién in a competition that will take place between June 26 and 30.
