A cautious Toto Wolff remains reserved about Mercedes’ expectations despite the German team’s productive run in Canada where they clinched their second consecutive podium.
Lewis Hamilton finished third in Montreal. On the other side of the Mercedes garage, George Russell took the checkered flag just behind his team-mate, the young wolf continuing his remarkable run in the Top 5 since the start of the season.
But Wolff warns it is still too early to consider Mercedes’ worries over, insisting the team’s path back to winning ways remains a long and winding road.
