a new Olympic day will be organized in Seine-Saint-Denis in June

The Paris 2024 committee announced this week that the city of Saint-Denis was going to host an Olympic day on June 26. Sports workshops will then be organized around the Stade de France.

Two years before the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the committee chaired by Tony Estanguet is launching Olympic Day on Sunday June 26. A festival dedicated to sport organized in Saint-Denis, at the foot of the Stade de France, the future Olympic stadium.

Several workshops and cultural activities will then take place during this sports festival. Admission will be free and this event will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Animated with the Olympic sports federations, demonstrations and initiations will be “an invitation to move together”, promises the committee which will highlight many disciplines: swimming, rowing, football, rugby, golf, handball, fencing, archery, boxing, horse riding, table tennis… but also the new Olympic sports: breaking, skateboarding and climbing and Paralympic sports: boccia, seated volleyball, wheelchair fencing.
