The sixth edition of the Spanish Alevín Championship kicked off this Friday in Valladolid with a magnificent opening day that made it possible to complete the group stage and define the name of the 16 teams that will fight for the title in both categories
The 16 tracks, divided between the Pisuerga Sports Center and the Pilar Fernández Valderraman Sports Center, experienced a Friday full of emotion, effort and enthusiasm among the 64 participants.
In the men’s category, the Round of 16 qualifiers will feature the matches played by Sporting Sto. In the women’s category, the sixteen best teams after the group stage will star in some exciting and intense knockout rounds that will lead to the finals on Sunday. The round of 16 matches will be RGC Covadonga – Coruña Calasancias, cvleganes.com – CV San Roque, Palestra Club Volleyball – Saint Louis des Francais, C. San Ignacio – Algaida VC Tecproim, CV Torrelavega – CD Salesianos Elche, EDM Volleyball Tomares – CV Esplugues, Río Duero Soria – Shipyard Volleyball and the meeting between Kassya Lacimurga – DSV CV Sant Cugat.
Today there will be a long and concentrated plan of meetings to define the names of the finalists, in a day that will end promptly so that the participants in the Spanish Alevín Championship can go to the Huerta del Rey Pavilion to enjoy the meeting of the European Golden League that will star the Volleyball Lionesses against France.
Along with the matches that will define the fight for the title, the matches will be played that will define the final classification for the positions that the teams from seventeenth to thirty-second will occupy.
