There is so much, so much of Stephen Curry in tonight’s Game 4 victory of his Golden State Warriors at NBA Finals 2022. The point guard, in fact, finished the contest with 43 points on the scoresheet and a really effective shot selection – albeit difficult -. His 14/26 from the field, including 7/14 from the arc, sentenced the Boston Celtics to defeat.

Among other things, we must point out a particular record of the Warriors: in the last 27 Playoff series, the Californians have always won at least one away game. This makes us understand the mentality of the team coached by coach Steve Kerr. In the post-match, Steph Curry commented in this way his very personal performance that is worth the 2-2 in the final series with Boston:
“Klay said it was my best game in the Finals. I don’t do these rankings. We played a good game, our goal was to enter the field with a different aggressiveness than in game-3 and we succeeded. We didn’t play a perfect first quarter but we managed to keep up with Boston, then with a couple of breaks in the last quarter we brought home a match that was fundamental for us. There is a big difference in returning to San Francisco at 2-2 compared to 3-1 for them. The foot? Our medical staff did a great job, they gave me no problems and I was able to play with a clear mind. I tried to put pressure on their defense and to play aggressively, the contribution of my teammates, from Wiggins to Poole without forgetting Klay, but it was fundamental. “

Coach Kerr also wanted to praise Curry’s sensational performance in this way:
“The foot problem obviously limited him a lot (laughs, editor’s note) there is little to say, it produced an extraordinary performance. I think on a physical level he is going through the best moment of his career. He has done incredible things against the best defense in the NBA and he also made his contribution on a defensive level. “
