On Friday May 6, the general assembly of the French federation of medalists for youth and sports and associative commitment was held at the Espace Gartempe, Montmorillon, general assembly led by its new president, Yves Vanduren, read since September 24, 2021, replacing Claude Thomas. Also present were Benot Byrski, sub-prefect, Bernard Blanchet, mayor of Montmorillon, Odile Chauvet, president of the Vienne departmental committee, and Julien Deschamps, departmental delegate for community life.
Before proceeding with the presentation of medals and trophies, the president presented the activity and morale report, and the treasurer recounted the financial situation of the Montmorillon circle of youth and sports medalists.
For several years, women and men have been getting the region moving. Several recipients were rewarded in different categories.
Bronze medals: Romain Begat (volunteering, nature sport), Colette Marzac (early childhood, associative environment), Paulette Vrignault (fight against poverty), Philippe Goyer (arts sector), Ccile Provost, from Savign (women’s football).
Youth Volunteer Trophies: Lilou Abonneau (Les Twirlers de la Gartempe), Aurlien Beaulieu (Judo Club) and Brian Saboureau (music).
Association Trophies: CIF-SP (Information and Training Center for Personal Services), the French Red Cross, Secours Catholique and Secours Populaire Francais.
