250 spectators experienced a gripping fight between the Judo Club Uster and Nippon Bern in the Ustermer Stadthalle.
With 4:3 wins in the first round and 4:3 wins in the second round, Uster got the 4 necessary victory points to conquer the top of the National League A table.

In the Ustermer team, 3 fighters celebrated their NLA premiere. Our Ukrainian fighter Yaroslav Yezhov scored two important points in both rounds in the -90 weight class. The only 14-year-old debutants Gil Bencharif and Gabor Kessler fought courageously, but had to admit defeat against their opponents from the capital.
Siro Stump set the course for victory in both rounds with his victories in the opening battle. Philipp Koch also won both fights in the -100kg weight class. With Mike Diethelm in the +100 category, coach Ran Grünenfelder achieved a tactical masterpiece. First of all, Mike got the first win in round 1 without a fight. In round 2 he made it clear for Uster with a dynamic shoulder throw in the last 10 seconds.
