The XXIII Basic Education School Games are inaugurated – El Sol de San Luis

The activity of the XXIII edition of the Basic Education School Games started, having as its venue the Multidisciplinary Pavilion of the “Adolfo López Mateos” Sports Unit, headquarters of the Badminton discipline where students and student athletes from the municipalities of Axtla, Tamazunchale participate , Xilitla, Tancanhuitz, Ciudad Valles, Soledad and San Luis Potosí.

The welcome was given by the Director of INPODE, Edmundo Ríos Jáuregui, accompanied by Mayolo Gómez Cruz, representative of the Department of Physical Education of the SEGE; Antonia Zavala Rentería, Director of Culture and School Sports of the SEER; the athlete Karol Ashlyn Pérez Díaz and the President of the Potosina Badminton Association Víctor Adán Godínez Vilchis.

The sports oath was issued by the athlete Karol Ashlyn Pérez Díaz from Axtla de Terrazas and the inaugural declaration by the Director of Culture and Sports of the Regular State Educational System, Antonia Zavala Rentería, who together with the Director of INPODE, gave the symbolic serve of the tournament.

Athletes from the schools participate: “Instituto Cervantes Apostólica” and “Instituto Pedagógico” of San Luis Potosí; Elementary School “Pedro Montoya” of Soledad; Primary School “Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla”, and “Lic. Roberto Leyva Torres” from Ciudad Valles; Primary School “Ignacio Ramírez” of Tancanhuitz.

In addition to the “Venustiano Carranza” Primary School in Xilitla; the “Benito Juarez” and “Manuel Jose Othon” Primary schools of Axtla; Primary “Jaime Nunó”, “Francisco I. Wood”, Primary “Beloved Nervo” and School “Squadron 201” of Tamazunchale.
