The US pulls out a victory over Sweden in the final seconds of the extension; Denmark leaves the “dry” French

In Group B, where the Latvian national team is playing, the United States defeated Sweden 3: 2 (1: 1, 1: 0, 0: 1, 1: 0) in Tampere.

In group B, the leader with 13 points in five games is Finland, followed by Sweden with 12 points. The United States is in third place with ten points, while the Czech Republic is in fourth place with seven points in four dues. Latvia and Norway, who have won five and four fights, follow with five points, Austria have four points in five games, while Great Britain has scored.

On Sunday, Latvia will play against the British hockey players for the first time in the world championship, but the group tournament will end on Tuesday with a match against Sweden.

Meanwhile, in Group A in Helsinki, Denmark beat France with 3: 0 (1: 0, 1: 0, 1: 0).

Peter Regins revealed the result in the 17th minute, but Joachim Blihfeld doubled the difference in the majority in the 26th minute – 2: 0.

One and a half minutes before the end of the match, Julian Jacobsen threw the puck into an empty opponent’s goal.

The winners were scored by Markuss Lauridsen and Frederick Storms with two assists, but Sebastian Dam repelled all 19 opponents.

French goalkeeper Henri Corentin Baises handled 27 of 29 shots.

Denmark has moved closer to the playoffs, but France has only a theoretical possibility.

The teams of Canada and Switzerland will meet in the second match of the group at 16.20, but Italy and Slovakia will compete at the end of the day.
