Liverpool defender Andy Robertson reveals his team’s dressing room was silent after the defeat to Madrid. Liverpool players are heartbroken.

“Obviously silence, shattered, that’s what happens when you come to a final and don’t win,” Robertson told BT Sport as reported AS.

Robertson said Liverpool should have performed better in the second half. However, Robertson also acknowledged the toughness of Thibaut Courtois in Madrid’s crossbar.

“We had chances, we faced a great goalkeeper, he made some great saves,” he said.

“But to be honest, I think we could have played better, especially in the second half. I think we played well in the first half, we were in control, we pushed.”

“Second half, we didn’t start well, they started to control the game more. When you face an experienced team they know how to win the final. Once they are ahead, they show it,” said Andy Robertson.
