Serbian NBA center Jokic wins MVP award again

New York (AP) – Center Nikola Jokic from the Denver Nuggets has again been honored as the most valuable player (MVP) of the North American basketball professional league NBA. This is the second time in a row that the 27-year-old has won the award.

Overall, he received 875 points, 65 of 100 eligible journalists and commentators put him in first place, as announced by the NBA. Joel Embiid (706 points) came in second, Giannis Antetokounmpo (595 points) was third. This marks the first time in NBA history that only non-American players occupy the top three positions.
