Former England international Paul Merson considers Cristiano Ronaldo’s stay at Old Trafford highly unlikely. The latter therefore believes that the best choice for the Portuguese is none other than PSG.
“I see PSG as a chance for Ronaldo because he could be Mbappé’s replacement in the short term. PSG’s goal is to win the Champions League and Ronaldo is a safe bet in the competition. He scores goals, sells shirts and has done it all in the Champions League.
The French league is easy for PSG and they could focus on winning the Champions League. Maybe next season we will see Ronaldo and Messi, two of the best of all time, in the same team,” Merson concluded, per Sportskeeda.
